Formerly Firth Cooling and Heating Solutions Ltd, N&P Climate Control is now one part of a rapidly growing full service M&E company. N&P Electrical and N&P Energy form the second and third elements of the development of the group.
We are a dynamic company, keen not only to keep up with, but to be ahead of our competitors on all aspects of climate control. Our aim is to provide potential and current clients with the knowledge they need to make decisions that reflect cost, design, practicality and efficiency.
We can offer a complete package for M&E requirements before, during and after construction. If it is an existing building then we can offer a service and maintenance package that takes the worry away from the client.
Our operatives are experienced and they have a diverse range of knowledge that covers all aspects of the industry. They are qualified and certified to carry our all necessary procedures. The management team is just as diverse. Our managers started at the bottom, working within the industry for many years. They are able to apply that experience to create successful systems and procedures which enables us to offer better products and services at a competitive price.
Our company is a member of HVCA, CHAS, Refcom, Acrib and Constructionline. We are also accredited installers of Mitsubishi systems.
Key Personnel
Managing Directors - Neil Firth and Paul Gray
Neil Firth and Paul Gray have been involved with the installation of electrical systems, particularly within the modular building industry since their electrical apprenticeships began in 1991.
Both Neil and Paul are fully trained electricians and boast a wealth of knowledge within this sector and have worked at most of the major modular building manufactures within the UK market.
In 1999 Neil joined Servaccomm Redhall Ltd to help keep up with the demands on the electrical installations within this fast paced industry. Within a year Paul joined Neil at Servaccomm Redhall Ltd to help assist as the company was rapidly expanding.
After working there for a period of four years, Neil and Paul launched their own electrical installation company, N&P Electrical Ltd. Contracts have since been won with numerous other large modular building companies.
N&P Electrical Ltd went from strength to strength. All the hard work was paying off and N&P Electrical Ltd was honoured in 2008 with recognition in the “Who’s Who Business Elite” publication for being one of the top 3% top performing small businesses within the UK.
In 2005 the decision was made to set up N&P Climate Control (formally Firth Cooling and Heating Solutions Ltd).This was initially done to help service their current clients who were seeking reliable and organised air conditioning/ventilation installers. Heating, Cooling and Ventilation was rapidly becoming a major sector within the modular building industry. Both Neil and Paul thought it a natural fit that offering both the electrical and air-conditioning installations would help customers and simplify the process from the design through to the completion stage.
N&P Climate Control Ltd has mirrored N&P Electrical Ltd with its rapid growth. The same ideals of integrity and accountability have been employed by both companies to great success.
Neil and Paul oversee all daily activities within the two companies. They spend a significant amount of their time ensuring clients are still receiving the high level of service that is synonymous with the N&P name. Both directors regularly attend courses to keep their knowledge of both industries up to date and strive to ensure the companies are providing high quality installations and service for all clients old and new.
Dean Gibson - Project Manager
Dean has 20 years experience in the construction industry. His management skills have had an impact on a diverse range of projects throughout his career. From the projects of Harlem and the Bronx to the lavish multimillion pound homes of the rich and famous, Dean has helped satisfy clients needs for time, quality and cost. Dean is fully aware that this is a rapidly changing industry and as a company, N&P Climate Control must be flexible to cope with these changes. Dean is responsible for the overall day to day operations of the company.
Emma Hollyman
Emma joined the N&P team in 2008, upon completion of her degree, and is responsible for all office and administrative duties. Emma spent 6 months at N&P Electrical before transferring over to N&P Climate Control, which means she has a broad knowledge of both sectors. At N&P Climate Control, Emma is the first point of contact for anyone with an enquiry. Emma has a broad knowledge of F-gas and ODS legislation and thus is able to competently prepare documents and logbooks to ensure client compliance.
